MEMPHIS MAFIA

The collection includes a selection of TCB (Taking Care of Business) and TLC (Tender Loving Care) necklaces. The necklaces were designed by the Beverly Hills jewelers Schwartz & Ableser and were given to members of the Memphis Mafia and their spouses, Elvis’ family and close friends as gifts.

The collection includes two 14 K gold TCB necklaces and two TLC necklaces, and one gold version with diamonds.

The Star of David Watch, one of only thirty-three made. Elvis (with Marty Lacker) personally designed this timepiece. The Star of David reemerges each twenty seconds as a crucifix. The idea was to unite both the ‘Gentile’ and Jewish friends of Elvis.

14K gold Id Bracelet given to Jackie Kahane by Elvis, inscribed on the reverse TCB Historian from Elvis.

Bulova Accutron Watch, gold with ruby numbers, which belonged to Elvis and was later given to Marty Lacker as a gift.

SPORT
Elvis sponsored local basketball teams, was a karate black belt and played raquetball regurarly. A good representation of his sporting interests is included in the collection, such as:

Elvis sky blue nylon, zippered Jogging Suit, manufactured by ‘Winning Ways’. Size XL, worn playing racquetball and whilst lounging around at home in Graceland.

Raquet Ball Raquet used by Elvis and given to Marty Lacker when his raquet broke during a game at the private courts in Graceland.

Two Footballs, one autographed by Elvis and used by him in Graceland.

A pair of white cotton Sweat Pants also worn by Elvis playing raquetball.
