POLICE ITEMS & FIRE ARMS
Elvis’ fascination with crime fighting and the police force has been well documented. Elvis collected Sheriff Badges and was sent examples from counties all over the States.
One is included in the collection, the Shelby County Chief Deputy ( badge No. 6).
Elvis personal set of Hand Cuffs.
A Police Torch, the body of which is magnetic, a gift to Elvis.
A Walkie-Talkie used by Elvis.
Remington 22 Rifle, given to Elvis by Lamarr Fike. He and Elvis used it to shoot snakes and rats around Graceland with this rifle.
6.35 Gardone VT Golden Beretta. Perhaps the best known of all Elvis’ guns. It was originally owned by movie director, Blake Edwards (husband of Julie Andrews), Elvis wanted Edwards to sell him the gun but he refused. Elvis later got the gun when he purchased Edwards’ house, 144 Monovale and its contents. He eventually gave the gun to Linda Thompson.
22 Caliber Derringer, a small hand arm kept by Elvis in his boots whilst performing, later given to Mart Lacker as a gift.
Black Air Pistol, serial no. Q630 699. used by Elvis at Graceland.
Elvis Colt 45, a commemorative Word War II gun, later given to Memphis Mafia member Joe Esposito. Elvis also gave one of these guns to both President Nixon and General Omar Bradley as a gift.
.357 Colt Python 6” handgun, serial no. E 19531, Elvis’ personal pistol.
Smith & Wesson, serial no. 6K88261, with TCB logo engraved on it. Elvis owned this arm and used it frequently.
38 Calibre Smith & Wesson, serial 6J8484, Elvis shot his yellow Pantera car with this gun, which was later given to Marty Lacker.
Leather, 1890, Bianchi Monrovia Belt Holster, including 22 bullets. Worn by Elvis with his 44 Magnum ‘Black Hawk’
Gun Case, a dark green briefcase with TCB logo, used by Elvis to store and carry his arms.
