GUITARS

An Epiphone acoustic guitar, serial no. 1135661. Given to Sheri Lacker, daughter of Marty Lacker, who lived at Graceland for a time.

A Harmony acoustic guitar owned and used by Elvis, later given to his Aunt Lorraine as a gift.

A Franciscan acoustic guitar, model A-580, played by Elvis extensively at home at Graceland, later given to Joe Esposito.

PERSONAL EFFECTS, CLOTHING & GIFTS

Coming from the poorest of poor background, on finding fame Elvis spent lavish amount of money on items for himself and noted for his boundless generosity, showered his family and friends with gifts, often items he had bought for his own use. The following are some of the items in the collection, which Elvis purchased for his own use and for the others.

A sterling silver Tiffany & Co Money Clip, owned and used by Elvis.

One blue cotton Shirt worn and designed by Elvis and especially made for him by the Memphis Uniform Company.

A set of Cufflinks and a Tie Pin owned and worn by Elvis.

Two-piece Leather Suit, comprising cream leather with leather thronged edging, especially made and worn on stage in Las Vegas in 1975.

A variety of gold-plated Mementos from Hillcrest, with letters of authenticity from Priscilla Presley.

A Rose and Mother of Pearl Necklace and gold-colored Compact inset with red stones and rhinestones purchased by Elvis in Germany for Minnie Mae Presley and later given to his cousin Donna Presley on a visit to Graceland.

An annotated copy of the Book The Prophet, by Kahil Gibran. The Prophet was one of Elvis’ favorite texts and he often referred to it.

Black, patent leather Stage Boots, especially customized for Elvis. These boots have rubber soles were designed to prevent Elvis slipping on stage.
