David Stanley

David Stanley was born in Newport News, Virginia 1955, to Bill and Sue Stanley. In 1960 Dee Stanley married Vernon Presley, Elvis Presley’s widowed father. David Stanley was just 4 years old, 20 years younger that his new stepbrother, when he moved into Graceland Mansion.

Spending the next 17 years as a member of of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s first family, David was an integral part of Elvis’s personal and professional life. At 16 David began touring with Elvis as a full time peronal aide and bodyguard. From 1972 to 1977 David worked over 1100 concerts, including one of the largest media events in history - Elvis’ record breaking Aloha From Hawaii Concert seen by over a billion fans worldwide.

Davis Stanley is considered the foremost authority on the life of his legendary stepbrother. He is president and CEO of Stanley Media Group Inc. and has written numerous books concerning his life and times with Elvis as well as being the source for several documentaries and film relating to Elvis.
